CSDP - From Larnaca to Lisbon

The three final modules of the High-Level Course were truly exceptional. We learned all about CSDP (Common Security and Defence Policy) operations and missions at the National Defence Academy of Larnaca, Cyprus, the Defence Academy in Bucharest and the National Defence Institute in Lisbon. All filled with outstanding hosts, panelists, discussion leaders, and colleagues from across Europe. I thoroughly enjoyed it! We all got a certificate of the EU HR Kaja Kallas. This is training at its finest, with special thanks to Christoforou Christoforos and Maria do Rosário Penedos !! ✌

Democracy Roundtable Ottawa February 2025

On my visit to Canada! After the MSC in Munich it was a great pleasure to discover new ways of sustained support for democracy together with colleagues from over the world in Ottawa on 18 and 19 February. Old and new concepts clash while the US is dismantling its USAID. Btw, stormy East coast and heavy snow - a wunderful country!
