GLOBAL PEACE AND SECRURITY (GPS)
Towards Effective Instruments and Mechanisms
This topic looks into political science, geopolitics, and security and defence policies, focusing on the evolving foundations of a new global peace order. It reviews power strategies by the EU, USA, China, India, and BRICS+, comparing universalist, interest-driven, and localised approaches. It also explores using inclusive, issue-focused networks, peacebuilding, and the psychology of peace to develop forward-thinking and resilient policies. Viist the NSM Library for the foundational book “Transforming Security” (Springer 2022) and explore soon our upcoming focus on Austria's security policy.
